Cherida is an experienced fundraising professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the charity sector, supporting organisations to grow sustainable income, build strong partnerships, and maximise their impact. Her expertise has delivered in fundraising roles for charities of all sizes including RSPB, Council for British Archaeology, Macmillan, Marie Curie, Born Free Foundation, Katharine House Hospice (Banbury), and Earth Trust (Abingdon). She brings experience of strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and organisational development, giving her a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing charities today.
As a Trustee of Quest for Learning, Cherida is committed to supporting the charity’s mission of improving educational opportunities and helping children and young people reach their full potential. She brings valuable experience in governance, strategic planning, and financial sustainability gained in compliance roles for The Air Ambulance Service and St John Ambulance.
Cherida is passionate about creating opportunities through education and believes that every child should have access to the support and resources they need to succeed. Raised and schooled in Oxfordshire, she is proud to contribute her skills and experience to help Quest for Learning make a lasting difference in the lives of the communities it serves, a number of which she has a personal connection with.
Cherida enjoys travelling and live music and loves nothing better than combining the two, her highlights, so far, have been achieving her long held ambition of visiting Peru in 2025 and seeing Machu Picchu and attending the world’s most northern Blues Festival in the arctic circle on Svalbard…she’s also a huge Glastonbury fan.
